Our Mission

Lioness Tactics, proudly female-owned, was created to awaken survival instinct, sharpen awareness, and build readiness long before a threat appears.

A lioness studies her surroundings, moves with purpose, and protects what is hers. Not just her cubs, but her territory, the balance, and the structure of survival.

Her strength is awareness. Her power is technique. Her purpose is protection. These same principles guide every course we teach.

Our Training Philosophy

Every threat starts with behavior. Long before there is a weapon, a word, or a move, there is intent. That is where we begin. We teach you to see what others overlook, to recognize the shift in energy, and to trust the instinct that warns you something is off.

Our training connects awareness, movement, and judgment into one sequence. You learn to read people, manage stress, and make decisions under pressure. Survival is not about strength alone. It is about timing, mindset, and staying composed when it counts.

At Lioness Tactics, we train for the entire process of survival. What happens before, during, and after a threat. You are never caught off guard. You are already ahead of it.

Meet the Founder

Renee Stringer is a self-defense instructor and security professional with over twenty years of experience teaching self-defense and more than a decade operating in high-risk dignitary protection, executive protection, and security operations. What began on the mats, teaching people how to fight back, evolved into a career shaped by both sides of safety: reactive readiness and proactive prevention.

She holds a black belt in Krav Maga and is a certified instructor in combat, firearms, de-escalation, and non-lethal defense. Her foundation was built on understanding how people respond under pressure. Over time, she recognized that the most dangerous threats rarely start with violence. They start with behavior.

That realization changed her approach to safety and training. Renee began developing programs that address threats at their earliest stages, integrating behavioral threat management, criminal profiling, and violence prevention into her work to help others identify and disrupt danger before it escalates.

Through that evolution, Lioness Tactics was born. Renee has trained law enforcement, military units, and civilians worldwide to move with awareness, think under stress, and trust the instincts that keep them alive.

Firearm Education

Lioness Tactics provides tactical training to families and individuals that are seeking to be proactive regarding their safety. Firearms courses are taught in Los Angeles and can be taught in group, semi-private and private environments. Self defense instruction is specialized for students and tailored for selected situations.
