Choose to take control of your safety. This workshop is designed to meet women’s specific personal safety needs in the streets, the workplace, and at home. Women are warned to always be cautious, never leave their drink unattended, always stick together etc. This stems partly from the fact that women are much more likely to be a victim of assault or robbed.
Many times as women we catch ourselves in our daily routine: walking alone whether it’s from the grocery store, mall, to the ATM, parking garage, or just out for a walk or run. How many times do you think in the back of your mind....am I prepared if I get attacked. What would I do? Many women fear the unknown and that is perfectly normal, but don’t sit in fear. Stay aware and fight back!
