Beginning shotgun — 101

Beginning Shotgun — 101 is designed for the new shooter looking to develop basic safe handling for the shotgun. This course will provide the student with proper shooting fundamentals, speed and select reloading considerations, shotgun setup, tactical considerations and live fire drills necessary to manipulate their shotgun.

  • Essential gun safety rules

  • Introduction to shotgun setup

  • Fundamentals of shooting

  • Different shooting positions

  • Tactical considerations

  • Speed and select loading

  • Proper cleaning and maintenance

Prerequisites

None

What to Bring:

  • Shotgun with sling

  • Shell carrying system,shell belt, or pouch for holding shells

  • 100 rounds of buckshot load (Bird shot not allowed)

  • 50 rounds of slugs

  • Eye and ear protection (available to rent on site)

  • Proper clothing for the weather (Sunscreen, hat, long-sleeve shirt, long pants, closed toeshoes)

  • Snacks,lunchand plenty of water

  • Notebook and pen

Home defense shotgun 102

Home Defense Shotgun — 102 is designed for the new or experienced shooter looking to develop basic safe handling and defensive strategies for defending the family home and loved ones. This course will provide the student with proper shooting fundamentals, speed and select reloading considerations, shotgun setup, cover and concealment tactics and live fire drills necessary to manipulate their shotgun.
